Lee Caufield
Lee was born and raised in Vernon in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. From an early age she was drawing the birds and animals of her rural upbringing and has continued to pursue and study artwork throughout her life. Her imagery is usually drawn from the natural world and her painting process remains open to unexpected directions. She works mainly in acrylics but often incorporates other materials and collage elements to achieve desired effects.
