Harvey Van Dyck

Harvey is a Calgary-based landscape artist who draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the mountains, the coastline, and the prairies. Time spent hiking and cycling, and enjoying these landscapes, is reflected in his paintings.

Harvey’s paintings are representations of places familiar to many. As an artist, Harvey brings a unique interpretation to each piece through a masterful use of composition, colour, and distinct brushstrokes. These elements work together to evoke emotion, inviting the viewer to step into the scene and become part of the experience.
Primarily self-taught, Harvey has refined his craft over the years through various ACAD courses, and artist workshops. Over time his commitment to experimenting with different techniques has allowed him to develop a style uniquely his own.
Harvey enjoys dedicating time to exploring his lifelong passion for painting.
